“I don’t expect you to understand why I swing this blade, nor do I care if the path before us is engulfed in shadows. But if the darkness dares to reach for her… I will tear the very fabric of this reality apart.”

A massive axe tears through a fractured sky, anchoring a defiant silhouette against a fading, golden horizon.

Guardian of Aedes Elysiae, bearer of a severed vow, wields the Iron of Defiance to cradle a memory that must never die.

—“Don’t look at my hands… just remember the color of our fields♪“

Story

The Cradle of Gold

Before the iron grew heavy in her hands, there was only the endless golden sea.

To grow up in Aedes Elysiae was to exist in a perpetual, warm twilight where time itself seemed to soften. Hana’s earliest memories were not of conflict, but of the rhythmic rustling of stalks dancing under a low, gentle wind. She was a child of the soil—small, light-footed, and entirely unburdened. The grand, ancient stone temples that dotted the landscape were not monuments of intimidating history to her, but merely perfect structures to hide behind during carefree games of hide-and-seek.

In those days, her world was small, safe, and beautifully predictable. The morning brought the sweet scent of baking grain; the evening brought the cooling amber wash of a sunset that promised never to truly fade. The elders spoke of the outside galaxy as a chaotic, roaring void, but to Hana, such tales felt like fairy tales meant to make the hearth fire feel warmer. She spent her days running through the fields until her cheeks flushed pink, completely oblivious to the fact that peace is the most fragile commodity in the cosmos. She believed, with the absolute certainty of youth, that her horizon would always remain gold.

Whispers in the Starlight

The shift from childhood to something deeper began on a terracotta rooftop, suspended between the whispering earth and a star-swept sky.

Hana had always known Cyrene, but it was beneath the thirteen-hued ripples of the Amphoreus night that their souls truly anchored to one another. Dressed in her navy-and-gold uniform, Hana sat with her knees pulled to her chest, looking out over the sleeping sanctuary. Cyrene sat beside her, the soft white ribbon in her pink hair catching the ethereal starlight. They spoke in hushed tones, sharing secrets that felt too grand for the daylight. Cyrene spoke of poems yet unwritten and dreams of tomorrow, her vibrant blue eyes reflecting a universe of endless possibilities.

In that quiet expanse, Hana realized her own dream was far simpler, yet infinitely heavier. She didn’t care about the grand tapestry of fate or the cosmic paths written in the stars. Watching the gentle rise and fall of Cyrene’s shoulders as she laughed, Hana felt a sudden, fierce tightening in her chest. A silent understanding bloomed between them atop that roof—a fragile, budding friendship that felt like the first spark of a fire destined to burn forever. Hana didn’t need to explore the galaxy; she just wanted to sit on this roof, guarding the girl who brought color to her quiet world.

The Vow in the Grain

The promise was forged at the epicenter of their world, buried deep within the tall, protective stalks of the wheat field.

By the time the amber sun dipped to its lowest point, friendship had quietly, inevitably matured into a love that defied the boundaries of their small sanctuary. They had wandered far into the golden labyrinth, away from the eyes of the elders and the shadow of the stone temples. It was there that Cyrene gently placed a handcrafted crown of autumn leaves onto Hana’s pink pigtails, laughing softly as she adjusted it before gifting her a soft, white silk ribbon—a twin to the one she wore herself.

Holding the delicate fabric close to her chest, Hana looked into Cyrene’s eyes and made a vow. It was a gentle promise born of pure innocence: to always walk side-by-side, to never let the harshness of the wider galaxy bleed into their sanctuary, and to keep their golden fields pristine forever. They held hands amidst the rustling grain, believing their love was an impenetrable shield. It was a beautiful, desperate lie. Hana did not know that the universe demands a terrible price for such untainted happiness, or that the very hands currently cradling fragile leaves would soon be forced to learn the agonizing weight of iron and blood.

The Shattered Horizon

Then, the sky bled.

The day everything went south did not begin with a warning; it began with the suffocating stench of rot. A dark, unnatural tide of absolute blackness spilled over the horizon, violently choking out the perpetual sunset of Aedes Elysiae. From the churning, abyssal murk crawled vicious, distorted creatures—nightmares of the Black Tide that tore through the ancient stone pillars and trampled the golden fields into burning ash. Panic erupted through the sanctuary. The screaming of the people she loved shattered the quietude Hana had taken for granted her entire life.

Hana ran blindly through the burning fields, her heart hammering violently against her ribs as she searched for Cyrene. She found her amidst their sanctuary, cornered by a towering beast of the Tide. The creature raised a jagged, obsidian claw, ready to tear through Cyrene’s defenseless, fragile form.

In that split second, something fundamental inside Hana violently snapped.

The gentle, rule-abiding girl died in that exact heartbeat. Driven by a raw, terrifying instinct of pure defiance, she dragged a massive, heavy ceremonial battleaxe from the temple walls. Her small arms strained against the top-heavy iron, but as she planted her feet and gritted her teeth, the weapon became an extension of her absolute refusal to let Cyrene die.

With a brutal, sky-rending swing, she butchered the creature, the impact cracking the very foundations of the earth beneath her. The beautiful, fragile promise they made in the wheat field was violently severed by the cruelty of the world—but as Hana stood silhouetted against the burning horizon, her clothes stained and her gaze hardened into that of a relentless executioner, she knew she would keep it in her own way. She would step onto the path of Destruction. To protect Cyrene and ensure a tomorrow where their fields could bloom again, Hana would gladly tear the galaxy apart.

First Meeting

“Um, hello… My name is Hana. I come from a small, quiet sanctuary called Aedes Elysiae. I… I know I don’t look like much, and this axe is quite heavy, but… if you ever find yourself in danger, please step behind me. I won’t let anything harm you.”

Greeting

“Ah, good morning! Did you sleep well? The sunrise is beautiful, but… it’s a little different from the one back home. Oh! I baked some fresh grain bread earlier. Would you like a piece before we head out?”

Parting

“Are you leaving? Safe travels. I think I’ll stay here a little longer to watch the wind move through the grass. It… reminds me of someone.”

About Trailblazer

“The Trailblazer? They are… a very strange person. Sometimes they stare at trash cans with such intense focus, it looks like they’re anticipating an ambush. But when they pick up that lance, or that bat… their eyes change. They have the gaze of someone who has chosen what they want to protect. I respect that.”

About March 7th

“Miss March is like a sudden burst of wind through a field of chimes. She’s so bright, and her camera captures so many beautiful moments… Sometimes, I look at her and think of… Ah, it’s nothing. I just hope the galaxy never forces her to trade that camera for a weapon of blood and iron.”

About Aglaea

“Lady Aglaea is… magnificent. When she speaks of toppling gods and rewriting fate with her golden threads, everyone listens. But looking at her, I can’t help but feel a bit sorry. Her hands weave the destiny of the entire world, meaning she can never afford to just hold onto a single, simple thing. I don’t want to change the cosmos… I just want to keep one promise from fraying.”

About Anaxa

“Mister Anaxagoras is… incredibly difficult to talk to. He demands absolute silence, and if you accidentally use his nickname, his glare could turn you to stone. He claims that doubt is the only truth in a world full of lies. I don’t really understand his philosophies, but… I saw the way he looks at the Sacred Tree. He’s willing to let the whole world hate him just to prove a point. In a way, we both know what it’s like to cast innocence aside for our own truths.”

About Castorice

“Miss Castorice is so quiet, and her hands… they always look so cold, like the winter snows of Aidonia. She told me she keeps her distance because she walks alongside the dead, but… I think she’s just lonely. I told her she doesn’t have to stay far away from me. After all, my hands are calloused and cold from iron, too. We can sit together, and she can tell me about her butterflies.”

About Cerydra

“Imperator Cerydra… she commands an entire empire, yet her eyes always look further, past the horizon and into the stars. She speaks of ‘Law’ and ‘Conquest’ with so much fire, it’s almost terrifying. But titles don’t mean anything to me. I don’t care about her laws, and I don’t care about her empire. If her grand schemes ever put a burden on… on the people I care about, I don’t care if she’s an Empress—I will put my axe between her and her ambitions.”

About Cipher

“Miss Cipher tells so many lies, it makes my head spin just listening to her. She calls herself a master thief and laughs like nothing in the world can catch her. At first, I thought she was just being irresponsible… but then I watched her run. She moves so fast because she refuses to let anything weigh her down. I… actually think that’s quite brave. I carry so much iron and grief that I’m rooted to the spot, but she? She just flies with the wind.”

About Cyrene

“Cyrene is… my everything. She talks about destiny, unwritten poems, and making yesterday’s flowers bloom in tomorrow. She has such a beautiful, gentle heart… a heart that belongs in a peaceful world, not a battlefield. Every time she looks at me with those vibrant blue eyes, my heart aches. I’m so terrified that she’ll look down and see how cold and bloodstained my hands have become from swinging this axe. I don’t want her to see the monster I have to be to keep her safe. I just want her to keep smiling. Let her plant her seeds of memory and look at the sky. As long as I am drawing breath, the darkness will never, ever reach her again.”

About Dan Heng — Permansor Terrae

“Mister Dan Heng carries the weight of an entire fallen dragon, holding the very earth together so it doesn’t crumble beneath our feet. Yet, when he speaks, his voice is always so calm, so steady. He tells me that no matter what power wakes up inside us, we choose who we are in the end. Looking at him, I feel like… maybe it’s okay that my hands have grown cold. If a dragon can choose to be a gentle guard, then maybe I can hold this heavy iron and still keep my heart pure for her.”

About Evernight

“Miss Evernight feels like a whisper you only hear right before you fall asleep. She commands the shadows of things that have already been forgotten, using ‘Oblivion’ to protect the wishes left behind in the mist. Watching her… it scares me. If the Black Tide wins, and our golden fields completely turn to ash… will I become a ghost like her, wandering the silence just to guard a memory? I hope not. I want to save the real, breathing world… but if the shadows are all that’s left, I suppose I’ll learn to walk in them too.”

About Hyacine

“Miss Hyacine is… like a gentle breeze from the clouds. She’s always smiling, and her little pegasus, Ika, is so soft and warm. Every time I come back from a rough battle, she rushes over with her medicine, scolding me for being so reckless with my own body. I try to tell her that it doesn’t matter if I get hurt as long as the line holds, but she just squeezes my hands and tells me that every life is worth mending. Her rainbow light… it makes me feel like the sun hasn’t completely set on us yet.”

About Hysilens

“Lady Hysilens acts like the ocean itself—deep, vast, and completely unbothered by the howling winds. She told me she let her old name sink into the past so she could stay on watch as a Knight Commander. I think I understand that choice better than anyone. When you choose to become a shield against the storms of fate, the person you used to be just gets in the way. I hope that once the waves finally settle and the fields are safe… she can reclaim her old songs, and I can finally put this iron down.”

About Mydei

“Prince Mydei tells me that if I want to truly understand him, I should face him in battle. He speaks of blood, strife, and suffering a thousand deaths like it’s a natural law. When I look at him, I see someone who has been completely swallowed by the cycle of war. I don’t find any glory in swinging this axe, and I don’t want to prove anything to anyone. But… if his path of strife can bleed the Black Tide dry before it ever reaches our home again, then I will gladly stand beside his madness.”

About Phainon

“Phainon… when he told me he was from Aedes Elysiae, my heart nearly stopped. I thought I was all alone out here. He carries the ‘Worldbearing’ flame, forcing himself to memorize the dreams of millions just so our home won’t be forgotten. He talks about letting his own fury consume him to become a blazing sun… It makes me want to scream at him. Why do the kindest people from our village always have to break themselves for the sake of tomorrow? If he is going to burn himself out to be the sun, then… I’ll use my axe to chop down any shadow that tries to eclipse him.”

About Tribbie

“Tribbie, Trianne, Trinnon… they speak with so many voices at once, it’s easy to get confused. They stole the Coreflame of Passage and split themselves apart just to bring hope to a thousand different worlds. Every time I look at them, I just see a girl who has forced herself to carry far too much. They want to guide humanity to a tomorrow where the stars gleam… but until we get there, they shouldn’t have to face the darkness alone. Whether she’s the messenger, the gatekeeper, or the priest, I’ll make sure my axe stands between her and danger.”

Eidolon Activation

“The crystal is fracturing further… but the warmth inside it hasn’t faded. I can feel it. I am getting stronger.”

Character Ascension

“My arms… they don’t strain as much against the weight of the iron anymore. I can swing it faster now.”

Max Level Reached

“Look at my hands… they’ve grown so cold and calloused. But it doesn’t matter. As long as this strength is enough to protect the golden horizon, I will carry this weight forever.”

Trace Activation

“A new memory unspools in my mind. Yes… I remember the sound of the wind. Let this be the shield that cradles our memories.”

Abilities

Core Abilities

Hewing Weight

Deals Physical DMG equal to a percentage of Hana’s ATK to a single enemy. Hana struggles for a split second against the massive weight of her axe before hauling it back and unleashing a brutal, top-heavy downward vertical chop — the impact cracks the ground beneath the target.

Shattered Quietude

Consumes 15% of Hana’s Max HP — never reducing her below 1 HP — to deal Physical DMG to a designated enemy and adjacent targets, granting 1 stack each of [Shattered Peace] and [Elysian Memory]. She grips the axe with both hands, spins on her heel, and releases a wide-arc horizontal slash; a trail of golden autumn leaves cuts through the air and turns into sharp, jagged blue crystal shards as the axe connects.

Fall of Elysiae

Requires a set number of [Shattered Peace] stacks to activate. Removes all stacks of both [Shattered Peace] and [Elysian Memory] and deals massive Physical DMG to all enemies. The battlefield dissolves into a cinematic flash of the endless golden wheat fields of Aedes Elysiae — a violent storm of swirling leaves and stalks rising around Hana as she leaps high into the air, a small silhouette against a fracturing sunset. She dives with both hands locked on the axe and shatters the golden field like glass, the ground erupting in earth and jagged blue crystal spires. In the ringing silence that follows, a single severed wheat stalk drifts through the debris until a quiet hand reaches out and catches it. She presses it to her chest, and as the crystals dissolve into flooding golden warmth, a nostalgic smile crosses her lips.

Remnants of Innocence

For every stack of [Elysian Memory] Hana holds, her DMG Taken is reduced by a set percentage. When she unleashes her Ultimate, all [Elysian Memory] stacks are consumed and she restores a percentage of her Max HP per stack consumed. Additionally, whenever Hana is struck by an enemy, she immediately launches a Counter-Attack using Shattered Quietude against the attacker — this counter does not consume HP but generates stacks normally. Upon taking the hit she stumbles back, then immediately plants her foot, grits her teeth, and sweeps the axe outward in a violent defensive arc to drive the attacker back.

Pastoral Threshold

Immediately initiates combat against nearby enemies. Upon entering battle via this technique, Hana begins with maximum stacks of [Elysian Memory] already accumulated. She swings her axe downward into empty air, sending a soft pulse of golden light rippling across the ground; any enemy caught within the radius is swept into combat before they can react.

Traces

Threshold of Survival

When Hana launches a Counter-Attack via her Talent while her current HP is at 50% or below, she immediately restores 15% of her Max HP — the battered field guardian drawing on her deepest resolve to hold the line.

Echoes of the Golden Fields

For every stack of [Shattered Peace] Hana currently holds, her CRIT Rate and Physical DMG each increase by a set percentage, her offensive power rising in direct proportion to how much of her homeland’s memory she carries into battle.

Jagged Laceration

When Hana uses her Skill or launches a Counter-Attack, she inflicts 1 stack of [Bleed] DoT on every target hit for a set number of turns. Enemies afflicted with [Bleed] take Physical DoT equal to a percentage of Hana’s ATK at the start of their turn, stackable up to five times as each axe blow tears deeper.

Light Cone

A Promise, Severed and Kept

Rarity: ★★★★★ — Path: Destruction

Increases the wearer’s Max HP and CRIT DMG by set percentages. When the wearer consumes their own HP or is struck by an enemy, they gain 1 stack of [Pastoral Defiance] up to a set maximum — each stack increasing the damage of their Skill and Counter-Attack by a set percentage. Upon reaching maximum stacks, the wearer’s next Ultimate ignores a percentage of the target’s DEF; all stacks are consumed when the Ultimate is unleashed.

“Do you think we’ll always be together like this?”

The wind swept through the endless plains of gold, carrying the sweet scent of grain and the carefree laughter of youth. Handcrafted crystals caught the light of a perpetual sunset, anchoring a silent, unspoken vow between two souls.

But a shadow inevitably falls upon the sanctuary. The cycle fractures. The sky bleeds.

When the peaceful horizon shatters like glass, innocence must be cast aside. The gentle hands that once cradled fragile leaves must learn the agonising weight of iron and blood. To protect a tomorrow that has yet to bloom, she will gladly let her own reality tear at the seams.

She doesn’t mind if the world forgets her sacrifice. She doesn’t mind if the path ahead is nothing but ruins.

“As long as you remember the color of our fields… I will keep swinging this blade.”

Eidolons

E1 — Resolve Facing the Dawn

When battle starts, Hana’s base Aggro value increases by a set percentage. Additionally, while she possesses at least 1 stack of [Shattered Peace], her CRIT DMG increases by a set percentage.

E2 — Unclouded Iris, Fragile World

For every stack of [Shattered Peace] Hana currently holds, Shattered Quietude ignores a percentage of the target’s DEF — the deeper the wound in the world, the further her blade cuts through its armor.

E3 — Vows Bound in Crystal

Basic ATK Lv. +1 (max Lv. 10). Skill Lv. +2 (max Lv. 15).

E4 — Ruptured Fields, Raging Iron

When Hana launches a Counter-Attack via her Talent, she advances her own action forward by 25%, ensuring the relentless guardian of Aedes Elysiae never yields the rhythm of battle.

E5 — Heart Beneath the Iron

Talent Lv. +2 (max Lv. 15). Ultimate Lv. +2 (max Lv. 15).

E6 — Quiet Rest in Golden Fields

When Hana triggers Fall of Elysiae, she no longer consumes her [Elysian Memory] stacks — they are preserved, and she still receives the full Max HP percentage heal per stack. Additionally, Fall of Elysiae completely ignores 100% of all enemies’ DEF, converting all damage into True DMG. If Hana would take fatal damage while holding at least 1 stack of [Elysian Memory], she does not fall — instead she immediately consumes all stacks to survive, restoring her HP to 50%. This effect can trigger once per wave.
